Composite geomembrane anti-seepage covering design

Composite geomembrane uses a plastic film as the anti-seepage base material and a non-woven fabric to form a geotechnical anti-seepage material. Its anti-seepage function mainly depends on the anti-seepage function of the plastic film. At present, the plastic films used for anti-seepage at home and abroad mainly include polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and polyethylene (PE). They are polymer chemical flexible materials with small specific gravity, strong extensibility and adaptability to deformation. High ability. Corrosion resistance, low temperature resistance, and good anti-freeze performance. Its main mechanism is that the impermeability of the plastic film blocks the leakage channel of the earth dam, and its greater tensile strength and elongation can withstand water pressure and adapt to the deformation of the dam body; and the non-woven fabric is also a polymer short fiber chemical material , which has high tensile strength and extensibility after being punched or hot-bonded. When combined with the plastic film, it not only increases the tensile strength and puncture resistance of the plastic film, but also due to the rough appearance of the non-woven fabric, The friction coefficient of the contact surface is increased, which is beneficial to the stability of the composite geomembrane and protective layer. At the same time, they have good corrosion resistance to chemical effects and are not afraid of corrosion by acids, alkalis, and salts.

1) Characteristics of composite geomembrane
The service life of the composite geomembrane is mainly determined by whether the plastic film loses its anti-seepage and water-proofing function. According to the standard, a polyethylene xi film with a thickness of 0.2m and a stabilizer used in hydraulic engineering will be used under clear water conditions. The working life can reach 40 to 50 years, and the working life under sewage conditions is 30 to 40 years. Therefore, the service life of the composite geomembrane is based on the service life required by the dam to prevent seepage.
2) Determination of the scope of film laying
Composite geomembrane uses a plastic film as the anti-seepage base material and a non-woven fabric to form a geotechnical anti-seepage material. Its anti-seepage function mainly depends on the anti-seepage function of the plastic film. At present, the plastic films used for anti-seepage at home and abroad mainly include polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and polyethylene (PE).
A certain reservoir dam was originally a core wall dam, but due to the collapse of the dam, the upper part of the core wall was detached. In order to solve the upper anti-seepage problem, an anti-seepage inclined wall was originally added. According to this demonstration and analysis of the Zhoutou Reservoir Dam, in order to solve the leakage weak surface and dam foundation leakage caused by multiple landslides in the dam, bedrock curtain grouting, contact surface grouting, and flushing were adopted in vertical anti-seepage. Anti-seepage bodies such as casing well backfill curtains and high-blast anti-seepage board walls are formed. The upper part of the inclined wall is covered with composite geomembrane to prevent seepage, and the lower part is connected to the vertical anti-seepage wall, reaching an elevation of 358.0m (0.97m higher than the calibrated flood level).
