Things to note when laying geotextiles during the summer rainy season

The rainy season has arrived, which will hinder the construction of many projects. However, many customers and friends hope that there will be no restrictions on the construction of geotextiles. The laying work of geotextiles is guaranteed for construction in the rainy season. The editor will briefly introduce and summarize it for you.
During rainy season construction, concrete pouring on rainy days should be avoided as much as possible. When concrete pouring is necessary to speed up the progress of geotextile applications, light rain can appropriately reduce the water-cement ratio and set up a temporary canopy on the warehouse surface to prevent rainwater from entering the concrete warehouse. If the surface mortar or concrete has not yet set initially after rain, you can add cement mortar and continue construction. Otherwise, work joints should be processed according to the requirements, and concrete pouring should be stopped during heavy rain.
During the rainy season construction of geotextile, backfill construction or other work must be carried out immediately after cleaning. The quality of geotextile should be measured frequently during geotextile laying. Determine the moisture content of sand and gravel aggregate, and adjust the concrete mix ratio in time to ensure the effectiveness of concrete mixing.
During filling construction in the rainy season, effective measures should be taken for drainage of the material yard to minimize the waiting time after rain; during construction after rain, measures such as turning over the sun and re-pressing the soil materials should be taken to ensure that the filling material has a good moisture content.
